Premier Product Marketing (a Vinmar Company) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team in Northern Europe. This person will play a pivotal role in driving sales and managing key accounts within the polypropylene market, helping to shape the future of our business by building strong relationships with our clients and providing them with tailored solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all sales activity for assigned major accounts, ensuring the company meets or exceeds sales targets.
  • Develop strategic sales plans that align with company objectives while addressing client needs through innovative solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify new opportunities for growth and account expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, marketing, and product management to ensure cohesive execution of projects and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and guide junior account managers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of success.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and strategic proposals to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of account management or sales experience within the plastics distribution or related industry.
  • Experience in selling directly to large PP converters
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies that successfully meet or exceed targets.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in negotiating sales contracts 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
