  • Shape Your Future With Us

Job Description

Level: Senior

Focus: Logic Apps, APIM, & Enterprise Integration (Power Apps SuccessFactors)

Role Type: Technical Engineering / Integration Specialist

Contract Duration: 6 months
Contract details: B2B/ PFA or SRL

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Azure Application / Integration Engineer with a deep specialization in Azure Logic Apps to design and build the "connective tissue" of our enterprise ecosystem.

Your mission is to build secure, reliable, and scalable integration services that allow Microsoft Power Apps to communicate seamlessly with SAP SuccessFactors. You will sit at the heart of the development lifecycle, defining API contracts, orchestrating complex data movements, and ensuring that integrations are resilient enough for production-grade operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration Orchestration: Design and develop sophisticated Logic Apps workflows to handle data synchronization and business logic between Power Apps and SuccessFactors.
  • API Management: Expose and secure integration points via Azure APIM, implementing advanced policies for transformation (Liquid/XSLT), routing, throttling, and security.
  • Architecture Patterns: Define robust integration patterns, including synchronous/asynchronous flows, retry logic, error handling, and idempotency to ensure data integrity.
  • Contract Design: Establish clear OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and versioning strategies for all integration services.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead the API testing strategy, including contract testing, integration tests, and the creation of mock services to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Power Platform developers to define payload formats and optimize the use of custom connectors.
  • Hardening: Troubleshoot complex cross-environment issues and harden workflows for high-concurrency production scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Core

  • Logic Apps Expert: Extensive hands-on experience building complex workflows, custom connectors, and advanced error-handling structures.
  • APIM Proficiency: Proven ability to publish APIs, manage developer portals, and author complex XML-based policies (OAuth2/JWT validation).
  • API Design & Testing: Strong background in RESTful API design and automated testing tools (e.g., Postman, Newman, or Azure DevOps test suites).
  • CI/CD: Experience with Azure DevOps for automating the deployment of integration logic and ARM/Bicep templates.
  • Enterprise SaaS: Familiarity with the architectural nuances of integrating large-scale SaaS platforms.

Soft Skills

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to map complex business processes from HR systems (SuccessFactors) into logical technical workflows.
  • Collaborative: Excellent communication skills for interfacing with both front-end (Power Apps) and back-end (SAP) teams.

Nice to Have

  • SAP Ecosystem: Knowledge of SuccessFactors OData APIs and common HR data objects (Employee Central, etc.).
  • Power Platform: Experience with Power Apps authentication flows and the specific limitations of standard/custom connectors.
  • Messaging: Familiarity with Azure Service Bus or Event Grid for decoupling high-volume integrations.

Key Deliverables

  1. Production Workflows: Fully functional Logic Apps orchestrating key SuccessFactors use cases (e.g., employee onboarding, profile updates).
  2. API Catalog: Securely published APIs in APIM with comprehensive documentation and standardized security policies.
  3. Validation Suite: A complete package of automated tests and CI/CD pipelines ensuring safe, repeatable deployments.
