Lodgify

Senior Product Designer (Global Experience & Design System)

Job Description

 Role Overview

As Senior Product Designer (Design Systems) at Lodgify, you are the owner and strategic driver of our Design System, ensuring our product delivers consistent, scalable, and meaningful end-to-end experiences.

This is not a UI maintenance role. You combine systems thinking, product experience (PX) knowledge, and strong interaction craft to build the foundations that power innovation across the platform. You work at the intersection of Product, Design, and Engineering, shaping components, patterns, and principles that directly impact business outcomes and user value.

You enable teams to move fast without breaking consistency, and you ensure our system scales as our product evolves.

⭐ How will you make an impact?
  • Own and evolve Lodgify's Design System, ensuring usability, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Define contribution models and governance to avoid fragmentation.
  • Translate product strategy into scalable design patterns and end-to-end user journeys.
  • Standardize complex cross-product experiences, such as the Universal Calendar and Notifications framework.
  • Identify systemic UX gaps and propose scalable solutions.
  • Partner with Engineers and PMs to align system evolution with architecture and product priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops and act as the go-to authority for global interaction patterns.
  • Maintain system libraries in Figma and ensure alignment with Engineering implementation.
  • Keep documentation clear, usable, and continuously updated.
  • Raise the bar on interaction precision and system coherence across teams.

  • ⭐ What makes you a great fit?
  • Strong Product Experience Mindset: You understand product strategy, user journeys, and business impact. You think beyond components and design systems — you design ecosystems that move the needle.
  • Systems Thinking: You understand how a single component change can impact multiple teams and flows. You design for scale, flexibility, and long-term sustainability.
  • Craft Mastery: You deliver precise interaction design and complex component logic with excellence. Your portfolio demonstrates experience with scalable systems, not just screens.
  • Engineering Fluency: You understand front-end fundamentals (component architecture, states, responsiveness, accessibility basics). You can have meaningful technical conversations and anticipate implementation challenges.
  • Tooling Expertise: You are highly proficient in Figma (libraries, tokens, variants, auto-layout, documentation practices) and comfortable collaborating around Storybook and component documentation workflows.
  • Ownership & Responsiveness: You proactively identify systemic issues and act on them. You provide timely support to teams and maintain momentum across initiatives.
