Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Social Media Specialist to lead and grow MindFriend’s digital presence. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership immediately, and hit the ground running within a fast-moving small team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and website content

- Create, schedule, and publish high-quality content (posts, Reels, Stories, short-form videos)

- Maintain a corporate, informative aesthetic aligned with our brand identity

- Stay consistently up-to-date with TikTok and Instagram Reels trends, algorithm changes, and emerging formats

- Translate trends into educational, brand-aligned content

- Develop content calendars and execute independently

- Monitor performance metrics and provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations

- Optimize content strategy based on analytics and audience behavior

- Contribute to marketing strategy and audience growth initiatives

- Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms

Required Qualifications:

- Proven professional experience managing social media accounts

- Demonstrated experience working within a small team environment (required — applications without this will not be considered)

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram algorithms and trends

- Experience analyzing performance data and adjusting strategy accordingly

- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Ability to balance creativity with a structured, corporate communication style

Preferred Qualifications (Strong Plus):

- Background knowledge in psychology or mental health

- Familiarity with governing bodies and compliance considerations related to health, wellness, or digital communication

- Experience in healthcare, wellness, or mission-driven brands

- Experience with paid social ads and performance marketing

- Basic video editing and graphic design skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
