Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst to join a life sciences company. You will manage and analyse data, develop scenario models, and support reporting to help drive informed business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal teams while contributing to process improvements and strategic planning.

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain databases to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
  • Manipulate and structure data using spreadsheets and internal systems to meet reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain scenario models to assist with forecasting, planning, and evaluating business outcomes.
  • Prepare data summaries, reports, and supporting documentation as required by stakeholders.
  • Provide general administrative support related to data, reporting, and analysis activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver timely outputs.
  • Support process documentation and contribute to improvements in data handling and reporting workflows.
  • Perform other position-level duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in data entry, data analysis, business analysis, or similar analytical support role.
  • Strong experience working with spreadsheets (Excel or equivalent), including data manipulation and basic modelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data, interpret results, and present findings clearly.
  • Experience developing or supporting scenario models and forecasting tools is highly regarded.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt as the business evolves.
