Overview of the role 

Phoenix enables digital transformation in the workplace, empowering UK organisations to innovate and transform with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, data, AI, security, and collaboration tools.  

We are now very excited to grow that team further by hiring a ServiceNow Solutions Consultant to take the lead on technical pre-sales activities. Engaging directly with our customers to scope and design solutions. 

 

What will you be doing? 

  • Develop scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned to Public Sector priorities across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and wider ESM. 
  • Translate organisational objectives into platform architectures and best‑practice designs. 
  • Deliver tailored demonstrations using ServiceNow DemoHub. 
  • Lead discovery workshops, produce LOE estimates and scope documents, and support RFP/RFI/Tender responses. 
  • Work with AEs on client reviews, QBRs, KPI analysis, service performance insights and adoption trends. 
  • Help clients define strategic ServiceNow roadmaps and licence optimisation plans. 
  • Provide internal enablement, share training recommendations and support Marketing with content and insights. 
  • Deliver internal enablement, sharing ServiceNow University and recommendations of course for Sales teams and BDMs based on industry trends. 
  • Work closely with Marketing to assist in content, lasts blogs and industry insight 
  • Maintain relevant ServiceNow certifications and stay aligned with Public Sector digital and AI strategies. 
  • Adhere to information security policies and ensure responsible handling of Public Sector data.

What are we looking for? 

The right person for this role will already have significant experience in a similar pre-sales consulting role and will be able to bring their experience and knowledge of the ServiceNow platform with them to this role.  

Key Skills: 

  • Strong experience designing and presenting ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD or wider ESM workflows. 
  • Solid understanding of Public Sector operating models (NHS, Local Government, Central Government). 
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, best‑practice ServiceNow architectures. 
  • Confident running discovery sessions, gathering requirements and producing LOE estimates and scope documents. 
  • Skilled at delivering engaging platform demonstrations using ServiceNow DemoHub or equivalent tooling. 
  • Comfortable analysing KPIs, service data and adoption trends to identify optimisation opportunities. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience supporting pre‑sales and account teams. 
  • Strong documentation skills across solution designs, proposals and roadmap development. 
  • Current ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS) with a commitment to continuous learning. 

Practical stuff 

Where is the role based? 
Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42) but this role can be remote with monthly visits to the HQ    

How many interviews? 
Following a screen with the Recruitment Team you can expect a two-stage interview process, one online and one in-person which includes a presentation.
