Job Description

As the Lifecycle Marketing Operations & Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of lifecycle marketing initiatives across email, SMS, and retention channels. This position combines strategic understanding of customer messaging programs with strong operational and project management ownership.

This is a key position for someone who excels at both lifecycle marketing execution and structured project management. You will work closely with leadership to manage priorities, build and QA campaigns, and ensure projects move smoothly from strategy to delivery.

Success in this role requires familiarity with email and SMS retention strategies, marketing automation tools, and the ability to take initiative without step-by-step direction.

Responsibilities:

Lifecycle Marketing Support and Execution

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo, including build, segmentation, and QA.
  • Develop and maintain automated flow programs such as welcome, post-purchase, and abandoned cart sequences.
  • Prepare creative briefs grounded in strategy and past performance data.
  • Review campaign metrics and recommend adjustments to segmentation, send timing, and prioritization.
  • Join client or internal calls, document key takeaways, and convert discussions into actionable next steps.

Project and Operations Management

  • Oversee ClickUp (or similar tools) for task creation, timelines, and progress tracking.
  • Translate strategy sessions, call notes, or project updates into clear execution plans.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple active accounts or workstreams.
  • Identify blockers or missing inputs early to prevent delays.
  • Maintain accountability and drive forward progress without close supervision.

  • Campaigns and flows are built, QA’d, and delivered ready for review.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in email and lifecycle marketing.
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo for campaign setup, automation flows, segmentation, and QA.
  • Experience managing SMS marketing programs.
  • Strong project management background with tools such as ClickUp or Asana.
  • Comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to make informed decisions independently and manage shifting priorities.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous work in an agency or multi-client environment.
  • Experience supporting marketing strategists or directors.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify and subscription tools (Stay.ai, Recharge, Skio).

Hours: Full-time, strong overlap with Mountain / Central Time

Type: Long-term hire (not a short-term contractor)

Salary: $1,800 - $2,500 USD/month

Time Off: 20 days paid vacation + holidays
