Are you an experienced CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist looking for a new challenge, Emerald Zebra is partnering with a FinTech company and looking for talented professionals to join their client in Limassol, Cyprus on a hybrid basis or work on a remote basis if not based in Cyprus.


About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to take full ownership of the customer communications strategy across email, SMS, and WhatsApp. You will be the driving force behind how the company engages customers at every stage of their journey — from acquisition and onboarding through to loyalty and win-back.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends strategic thinking with technical execution. You will design and optimise automated lifecycle flows, build smart segmentation, run rigorous A/B testing programmes, and leverage AI to continuously improve performance — all while ensuring deliverability, compliance, and data integrity across our CRM ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

Strategy & Planning

  • Define the lifecycle marketing strategy aligned to brand goals across acquisition, activation, onboarding, engagement, loyalty, and win-back
  • Set objectives, target audiences, and channel mix (email, SMS, WhatsApp)
  • Own the send calendar: seasonal moments, product launches, and promotional campaigns

Automation & Flows

  • Build, optimise, and own automated lifecycle flows — welcome/onboarding, abandoned browse/cart/checkout, post-purchase, replenishment, up/cross-sell, loyalty, reactivation, and churn prevention
  • Design workflow logic: triggers, branching, fallbacks, frequency caps, exit criteria, and suppression rules

Segmentation & Personalisation

  • Create targeted, testable segments using behavioural, transactional, demographic, language/locale, and engagement signals
  • Keep segments fresh, scalable, and aligned to business objectives

AI & Innovation

  • Leverage AI tools for subject line ideation, send-time optimisation, copy variants, and predictive churn/next-best-action modelling — with human QA

Campaign Execution & Testing

  • Manage campaigns end to end: brief, structure, content collaboration, template creation, QA, and rendering tests across clients/devices
  • Run A/B and multivariate tests (subject, preheader, offer, layout, timing); document learnings and scale winners

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and interpret performance: CTR/CTOR, conversion, revenue per recipient, list growth, complaint/bounce rates, and inbox placement
  • Adjust levers (offer, audience, cadence) based on data insights
  • Deliver weekly updates on performance, progress, and recommendations; maintain a test-and-learn roadmap with clear hypotheses

Deliverability & Compliance

  • Monitor deliverability and list health: manage acquisition sources, consent states, suppression lists, and sunsetting rules
  • Coordinate with IT for SPF/DKIM/DMARC and domain/IP warm-up
  • Handle customer and applicant data responsibly in line with GDPR/ePrivacy, CAN-SPAM, and internal policies


What You Bring:

Must-Have Skills

  • Lifecycle & CRM expertise: Proven hands-on experience building and optimising email/SMS lifecycle programmes and one-off campaigns
  • Automation design: Comfortable designing multi-step workflows with triggers, waits, splits, exit rules, frequency caps, and suppression logic
  • Data fluency: Ability to define data requirements, build segments, and turn analysis into action (SQL basics or ESP audience builders; UTM discipline and GA4/attribution)
  • HubSpot proficiency: Strong expertise with HubSpot as ESP/CRM, including CRM data structures (objects, fields, consent management)
  • HTML/CSS for email: Confident editing email-safe HTML/CSS, troubleshooting rendering quirks, and using partials/components
  • Testing & optimisation: A/B/MVT design, statistical thinking, and a systematic approach to test roadmaps
  • Deliverability know-how: List hygiene, spam trap avoidance, complaint/bounce management; DNS/authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) concepts
  • QA & accessibility: Cross-client rendering, mobile-first design, and accessibility best practices (semantic structure, colour contrast, ALT text)
  • Communication: Clear written and spoken English at B2+ level; comfortable with global customers and multilingual variants
  • Privacy mindset: Comfortable handling client data in CRM with strong attention to policy compliance and data minimisation

Industry Experience

  • Required: Experience in a brokerage firm and/or proprietary trading firm
  • Preferred: Background in finance, trading, fintech, or similar high-compliance environments

Education

  • No strict educational requirements — practical experience and proven capability are valued more than formal degrees
