Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with GitHub, Terraform, Datadog, and CI/CD pipelines (on CircleCI), as well as strong scripting skills in Bash and Python. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with a passion for optimizing processes and driving efficiency through automation. A strong understanding of information security principles, particularly in the implementation of ISO27K controls, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for scalable, resilient deployments.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, automating provisioning, configuration, and resource lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI) that enable fast, reliable, and secure software delivery.
  • Monitor and improve infrastructure performance using (Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, Sentry), proactively resolving potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts in Bash and Python to streamline workflows and eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including integrating ISO27K controls across infrastructure and processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely support for production systems to ensure high availability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency with GitHub, Terraform, Datadog, and CI/CD tools (CircleCI).
  • Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation and tooling.
  • Knowledge of information security principles, with experience implementing ISO27K controls considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
