Job Description

We’re looking for an RPA Support Engineer to help operate, troubleshoot, and improve our automation workflows in production. This role is well-suited for both experienced automation professionals and junior RPA developers who want real exposure to production systems and hands-on operational ownership early in their careers.

You will monitor live automations, diagnose failures, support workflow reliability, and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams. This is not a purely theoretical role. You will be close to real automations, real data, and real business impact from day one.

What You’ll Work On

RPA Monitoring and First-Line Support

  • Monitor automation dashboards to ensure workflows complete successfully
  • Identify, restart, and troubleshoot failed or stalled automations
  • Act as the first responder for automation issues and operational incidents
  • Escalate complex problems to Engineering with clear technical context

Automation Troubleshooting and Investigation

  • Diagnose failures across RPA tools, APIs, and connected systems
  • Review logs, execution histories, and outputs to identify root causes
  • Validate fixes and confirm workflows are stable before closing issues
  • Learn how production automations behave under real-world conditions

Workflow Optimization and Reliability

  • Identify recurring failure patterns and performance issues
  • Support improvements to automation logic, retries, and error handling
  • Assist with testing and validation of new or updated automations
  • Gradually take ownership of specific workflows as experience grows

Tooling, Reporting, and Documentation

  • Work with automation platforms such as Activepieces, Airflow, or similar tools
  • Run basic SQL queries or use API tools like Postman to validate data flows
  • Maintain incident logs, troubleshooting notes, and resolution summaries
  • Help build and improve runbooks and SOPs for automation support

What You Bring

  • 1 to 3+ years of experience in RPA, automation development, or technical support Junior RPA developers with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply
  • Hands-on exposure to automation tools, workflows, or orchestration platforms
  • Curiosity and willingness to debug, investigate, and learn production systems
  • Basic comfort reading logs, working with APIs, or validating data
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over system reliability
  • Clear written communication skills and comfort working with technical teammates

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting live or production automations
  • Familiarity with fintech, finance systems, or operational workflows
  • Exposure to AI-assisted automation or intelligent workflows
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python or similar languages
  • Experience using monitoring or observability tools
