Looking for Filipino (Philippines-based) candidates
Job Role: Senior Full Stack Developer
Work Schedule: AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday)
Compensation range: $2,500 - $3,500 AUD / Monthly
Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be formally employed through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you’ll be able to work from home.
Who The Client Is: The client is a bootstrapped, founder-owned travel technology company based in the south of Sydney, Australia. The business focuses on building a highly specialised digital product for planning multi-day hiking experiences in Europe, combining route design, accommodation options, and transport logistics into a single platform.
The company currently has several live hiking trails across Europe, with a strong pipeline of additional routes in development. There is a clear long-term roadmap to expand into new regions and adjacent adventure travel categories, including bikepacking. The founder is hands-on, customer-focused, product-driven, and looking to scale the platform sustainably with the right technical leadership.
Role Overview: The client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to take ownership of the core product and drive its next phase of growth. This is a full-time role suited for a confident, self-directed builder who can ship production-ready features independently and later grow into a leadership role overseeing a small development team.
You will work closely with the founder on product direction and execution, initially as a solo developer and, over time, as the technical lead managing 1–2 additional engineers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, product ownership, and building from a solid foundation rather than maintaining legacy systems.
