Location: Remote

Schedule: Full-time

Salary: 800-950 USD

Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist to support the day-to-day administrative and compliance functions of a home care agency. This role works closely with the Director/Manager and plays a key role in EVV oversight, data entry, caregiver coordination, and routine operational follow-ups. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable with systems, confident on the phone, and able to support leadership by keeping information accurate, up to date, and flowing smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

EVV & Scheduling Systems

  • Work daily within AxisCare
  • Monitor and support EVV compliance, including reviewing visits and flagging issues
  • Perform accurate data entry related to visits, caregivers, and clients
  • Assist with resolving basic EVV exceptions and documentation gaps

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Director or Manager
  • Draft and send professional emails on behalf of the owner when needed
  • Handle inbound and outbound emails related to operations and caregivers
  • Maintain organized records and internal documentation

Caregiver & Client Touchpoints

  • Conduct monthly check-in calls (on a quarterly rotation) to ensure caregivers and/or clients are supported
  • Assist with supervisory visits over the phone, including documentation and follow-up
  • Support routine communication to ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Hiring & HR Support

  • Assist with reference checks for new hires
  • Support basic hiring-related data entry and documentation

Billing Support (As Needed)

  • Assist with billing tasks when required (experience is an asset but not critical)
  • Billing support may fluctuate and is not the primary focus of the role.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in home care, home health, or healthcare operations preferred
  • Hands-on experience with AxisCare strongly preferred
  • Strong data entry and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with phone calls, follow-ups, and professional communication
  • Ability to draft clear, professional emails
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage recurring tasks independently.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience with home care billing
  • Previous support experience working directly with an owner, director, or manager
  • Familiarity with EVV compliance standards:
