Job Description

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Futurae, you will lead the technical journey from discovery to implementation for seamless platform integration. Act as the strategic bridge between client needs, product, and engineering to deliver user-friendly solutions.

Requirements

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Establish yourself as a resident subject matter expert on Futurae’s products and ecosystem
  • Drive account strategies in collaboration with Sales to win business opportunities
  • Lead discovery sessions to map technical solutions to complex business problems and showcase business value
  • Proven experience in building and scaling a Solutions Engineering team, including the design of technical playbooks and workflows and partner programmes
  • Craft technical content and deliver platform demos tailored to customer needs
  • Own the end to end execution of technical POCs for high stakes use cases 
  • Influence the product roadmap by distilling field feedback for Product, Engineering, Marketing and Sales teams

Necessary Technical Skills

  • A good understanding of Open Standards, in particular Identity & Access Management (IAM): SSO, MFA, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML.
  • A strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and core security concerns within a typical application (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: web (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks) development, mobile (iOS, Android) development, backend (Go, Python, Ruby, Rust) development, IP-based real-time communications
  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, with preference on GCP.

  • You confidently dispense your knowledge to a highly skilled and experienced audience
  • You have proven fintech and digital security sector business acumen
  • You know how to strategically position the product offering for each customer. 
  • You understand partner/channel growth strategies,
  • You expertly navigate complex organizational hierarchies to identify, map, and engage key stakeholders, including IT Administration, C-Suite (CISOs), Enterprise Architects, Procurement, and Legal/Security teams.
  • You are based in Europe with willingness to travel 10-25%
