SAP Infrastructure Engineer (ECC Modernization)

We’re looking for a SAP Infrastructure Engineer to join us in a mission-critical project!

Your primary goal will be to stabilize and modernize our SAP infrastructure operations, with a sharp focus on reducing patching windows and minimizing operational impact. You will be dealing with a large-scale SAP ECC on-premise estate (approx. 100 VMs) while navigating the transition towards a long-term S4/HANA migration.

This is a role for someone who finds value in making complex systems more resilient and secure, thriving in a maintenance-heavy environment with the technical authority to influence the future direction of our SAP infrastructure and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.

Requirements

You're Great At:

• SAP Infrastructure Mastery: Extensive experience managing SAP estates, with a specific focus on SAP ECC on-premise.
• Operational Modernization: Proven track record in improving security patching processes, increasing frequency while reducing downtime.
• Large-Scale Environments: Experience managing complex estates (approx. 100+ VMs across Production and Non-Production).
• Security & Resilience: A deep understanding of infrastructure security, auditing, and system monitoring.
• Strategic Influence: Ability to work in a maintenance-intensive role while identifying and advocating for adjacent value opportunities and process improvements.
• Collaboration & Navigation: Comfort working within a diverse delivery ecosystem, collaborating effectively with third-party partners (TCS) and internal stakeholders.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.

It Would Be Fantastic If You Also Have:

• Knowledge or early experience with S4/HANA migrations.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies across multiple data centers.
• Familiarity with database optimization and system sizing for SAP workloads.
• Exposure to cloud-adjacent SAP strategies (Azure/AWS/GCP) as part of a migration roadmap.
