At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Android Developer to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transforming, and multicultural environment.

As a Senior Android Developer, you will lead the implementation of a new design system for our mobile applications, utilizing your expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure a seamless user experience while phasing out the legacy system. Your role is crucial in enhancing the app’s design components and maintaining high-quality standards.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to implement the new design system across the app.

Ensure a consistent user experience and design.

Contribute to the development of the new design system.

Phase out the legacy design system.

Refactor existing features for improved code quality, performance, and maintainability.

Maintain high quality through code reviews, automated testing, and best practices.

Coordinate with a EU team to promote the new design system.

Professional experience in Android app development.

Strong expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architectures.

Experience in collaborative development on complex codebases.

Proficient in Git, branching strategies, and code review workflows.

Commitment to quality through unit and manual testing.

Ability to create performant, reusable, maintainable, and testable code.

Strong collaboration skills with designers, product managers, and engineers.

Problem-solving mindset with analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Proactive and results-oriented attitude.

Experience with design systems.
