Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be leading the design, development, testing and maintenance of software products that support the needs of architecture, engineering, and consulting (AEC) firms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement core product features, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance. This role requires a strong foundation in programming, problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning new technologies in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions for architecture, engineering, and consulting firms.
Implement features, optimize performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos).
Write, test, and optimize code following established standards.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.

Technical Requirements:
SQL, Python, and/or Scala (advanced/expert)
Data modeling: relational and data warehouse schemas
ETL and data pipelines
Version control with Git
Cloud & Data Platforms: Azure and Microsoft Fabric
Visualization: experience with Power BI preferred
Nice to have: knowledge of AI and Machine Learning

Education or Prior Work Experience:
