Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage all HR functions in a fully remote environment. This role is responsible for developing HR policies, supporting employee relations, ensuring legal compliance, and partnering with leadership to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in U.S. employment laws, highly organized, and capable of managing HR operations independently while collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations

Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with U.S. labor laws

Manage employee records, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR documentation

Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, compliance, and organizational development

Handle employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions

Lead performance review processes and support employee development initiatives

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations

Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

Manage offboarding, terminations, and exit processes professionally and compliantly

Maintain confidentiality and data security across all HR activities

Required Qualifications

Must reside in the United States

Must possess a valid government-issued ID

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role

Strong knowledge of U.S. labor and employment laws

Experience managing HR functions in a remote or distributed workforce

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)

Experience supporting multi-state or remote U.S. teams

Familiarity with benefits administration and compliance reporting
