Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst – Configuration Lead to support the review and optimization of configuration strategies across an existing product ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis and technical configuration, requiring close collaboration with product, architecture, engineering, and QA teams.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of configuration governance, ensure alignment between business requirements and system behavior, and act as a subject matter expert for configuration-related topics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and manage the configuration strategy for existing ecosystem products under review

  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, ensuring alignment with NBA rules objects

  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Architects, and Senior Full Stack Engineers to validate configuration logic and technical feasibility

  • Coordinate with development and QA teams to support configuration-related testing and defect resolution

  • Ensure governance compliance for configuration changes, including version control and audit trails

  • Monitor and optimize configuration performance, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements

  • Document configuration processes, standards, and guidelines to support onboarding and ongoing team reference

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product configuration, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and training to team members

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Configuration Lead, or similar role

  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical/system configurations

  • Experience working closely with engineering, architecture, and QA teams

  • Solid understanding of configuration governance, versioning, and change management

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Previous experience working with PEGA

  • Exposure to complex product ecosystems or rule-based systems
