Senior Frontend Developer (React.js)

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our talented and dynamic seed-stage team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an innovative product and bring it to production by implementing advanced canvas manipulation techniques to create a scientifically-accurate measurement interface using HTML Canvas.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in frontend development, with a focus on React.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with HTML Canvas and implementing complex visualizations or measurement tools.
• Solid understanding of Postgres and experience integrating frontend systems with backend databases.
• Proven track record of building scalable and interactive web applications.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling challenging tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute to team discussions and decisions.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces using React.js.
• Implement advanced HTML Canvas techniques to create precise measurement tools.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with Postgres-powered systems.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth deployment and production readiness.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and high code quality.
• Work with designers and product managers to translate requirements into functional and appealing frontend components.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in frontend development to continuously enhance the product.
