Project Manager for Manufacturing Company (US Based/Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to serve as a crucial link between our Project Management team and factory operations. This role focuses on ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining quality standards, and facilitating clear communication between various stakeholders.


Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and maintain accurate production schedules while coordinating with factory partners

• Monitor production progress and update timelines based on real-time status and priorities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Project Managers, factory teams, and internal departments (design, logistics, procurement)

• Conduct quality assurance checks during production phases to ensure adherence to specifications

• Document and investigate quality issues, providing detailed reports and action recommendations

• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, escalating significant challenges to Project Management

• Manage administrative tasks including documentation and correspondence

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any arising issues

This is a remote job opportunity with occasional factory visit.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or supply chain management.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with production scheduling and quality control processes

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Packaging Manufacturing Industry
  • Willing to relocate to Shenzhen, China
  • Familiarity with Project Management tools
  • Experience working with international client and suppliers
