Role Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll lead the charge in developing and scaling the SaaS platform, ensuring it is highly performant, user-friendly, and architected for long-term scalability. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a measurable impact in the creative and SaaS industries.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Development and Optimization:

• Develop and maintain scalable full-stack solutions for Thesheet’s SaaS platform.
• Build efficient and responsive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Architect robust back-end solutions utilizing Node.js, Python, or a relevant framework for scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to translate Figma or design prototypes into polished, functional interfaces.

Technical Architecture and Code Quality:

• Architect and implement database structures for optimal data flow and performance (SQL/NoSQL).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best coding practices (e.g., DRY, SOLID).
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and mentor junior developers where applicable.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

Product Launch and Integration:

• Implement integrations with third-party tools, APIs, and payment gateways to expand platform functionality.
• Support the deployment of new features and updates, ensuring seamless product releases.
• Identify and resolve bugs, technical issues, and edge cases quickly and effectively.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Support:

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and leadership to align technical development with business goals.
• Provide regular updates and technical feedback on progress, blockers, and deliverables.
• Contribute to technical discussions, roadmapping, and sprint planning sessions.

Testing and Security:

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to ensure system reliability.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure platform stability.
• Monitor platform performance and recommend solutions to improve security and user experience.

Requirements

• Must-have:
• Minimum of 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and back-end languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, or Ruby).
• Strong database experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Understanding of DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Nice-to-have:
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment.
• Background in designing and optimizing platforms focused on designers or creative professionals.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with payment gateway integrations and security protocols.
