About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to play a critical role in the development of our voice-based diagnostic platform. As a Senior Engineer at Amplifier Health, you will be a key player in architecting, building, and deploying core components of our platform. You will have the opportunity to own entire products and features, from conception to production, and work closely with our AI research and engineering teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is eager to make a significant impact on the future of healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the design, development, and deployment of complete product features and services.
- Collaborate with the AI research team to integrate cutting-edge acoustic models into our platform.
- Design and implement scalable and robust microservices architecture.
- Build and maintain APIs for seamless communication between different platform components.
- Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our software infrastructure.
- Write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building and shipping production-ready software.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Rust) and frameworks.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for building innovative and impactful healthcare solutions.
Bonus Points
- Experience with healthcare applications or data.
- Familiarity with data streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Apache Pulsar).
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
