QA Engineer

Job Description

As an Automation QA Engineer at 99x Americas, you will be at the forefront of our client's software quality assurance processes, focusing on developing and implementing automated as well as manual testing solutions. Your expertise in testing frameworks and automation tools will ensure that their products maintain the highest quality standards while accelerating the release cycles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into the development lifecycle and improve overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test cases suitable for automation.
• Integrate automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline to streamline the testing process.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects and test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews to improve quality and share knowledge.
• Continuously improve existing test frameworks and practices.

Requirements

• Advanced English skills (will be used on daily basis);
• Proven work experience in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or JUnit;
• Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript;
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab;
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and processes;
• Experience in working with RESTful APIs and web services testing;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and extreme attention to detail;
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
