Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Description

• Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive and scalable frontend applications using React.js.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code with an emphasis on performance, usability, and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with the product, backend, and design teams to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Ensure code quality through thorough reviews, testing, and best coding practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for better performance and scalability.
• Lead architectural decisions for the frontend codebase and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Integrate APIs and collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless data flow.
• Stay current with the latest frontend trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong focus on React.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with Redux or similar state management libraries.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integrations.
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn).
• Experience with component-driven architecture and reusable components.
• Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.
• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) for unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
