Harbor is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer with a keen focus on optimization, reliability and performance of all cloud and on-premises IT server infrastructure, being responsible for the overall day to day management and support of the enterprise infrastructure and computing technologies deployed at Harbor Global. The right candidate for this position can leverage technology to ensure operational excellence of IT systems within the 24/7/365 environment. The Infrastructure Engineer will provide direct hands-on work within the Infrastructure Services team for all activities related to the broad range of tools and technologies deployed involving servers, virtualization (both on-premise and cloud), storage, backups. To ensure success, the ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Office365 and Domain Administration tasks, Active Directory, EntraID, firewalls/networking, emails systems (O365 and Mimecast) and other important IT infrastructure platforms and tools relevant to systems administration, such as VMWare, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Azure. Knowledge in Azure Service Provisioning, skilled in provisioning and managing Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, and Networking components, to support scalable and resilient enterprise infrastructure and Automation and Monitoring in Azure, plus having experience in utilizing Azure Automation and Azure Monitor to streamline deployment, configure alerts, and ensure real-time visibility into resource performance and health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge and administration of VMware server environments;
  • Understanding of Network infrastructure, particularly Palo Alto Firewalls;
  • SSO knowledge (specifically, DUO);
  • Azure (subscriptions, RBAC, maintenance);
  • Windows Server Administration;
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra;
  • Exceptional knowledge of networking technologies;
  • Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring;
  • Good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face);
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issue;
  • Ensure system security through access controls;
  • Collaborate with IT staff and end users to identify and address system requirements;
  • Optimize the performance and scalability of the IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technology, servers, systems, infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in VMware, firewalls, networking, email systems.
