Web Designer

Job Description

We’re looking for a talented and passionate Web Designer to craft engaging, user-centric website layouts and digital experiences. In this role, you’ll transform high-level concepts and business requirements into elegant, functional designs—bridging the gap between creativity and technical execution. Your work will play a pivotal role in shaping how our brand (and our clients’ brands) are experienced online.

What you’ll do

• Design & Conceptualize: Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• UI/UX Execution: Build visually stunning, responsive, and intuitive interfaces for websites and web applications.
• Collaborate: Partner with product managers, marketers, and developers to deliver flawless digital experiences.
• Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure typography, color, iconography, and style remain aligned across all digital touchpoints.
• Front-End Development: (Optional, depending on your coding level) Translate mockups into clean HTML and CSS.
• Responsive Design: Deliver optimal experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
• Iterate & Improve: Use user research and usability testing to refine and evolve designs.
• Stay Ahead: Keep up with the latest trends in web design, UI/UX, and front-end development.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Web Designer, UI Designer, or similar role
• A strong portfolio showcasing web design projects and your creative process
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Solid grasp of UI/UX principles and user-centered design
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Strong eye for typography, color, and layout
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Creative problem-solving mindset

(Degree in Design, Graphic Design, or Interactive Media is preferred, but a stellar portfolio is just as valuable.)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or other CMS platforms
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS)
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)
• Motion design or prototyping experience (After Effects, Framer, Principle)
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Background in a marketing or agency environment
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles
