SEO and Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and analytical Marketing VA with expertise in SEO and Social Media to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, and optimizing content for better search engine performance. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, social media platforms, and SEO techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.
  • Create, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Monitor and respond to audience interactions, comments, and messages on social media accounts.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize website content, including blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions, for improved search rankings.
  • Monitor website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush) and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
  • Collaborate with content teams to create SEO-friendly copy and content.
  • Curate and create relevant, engaging content for social media platforms and websites.
  • Develop visual content, including graphics and videos, to enhance marketing campaigns.
  • Regularly generate reports on SEO and social media performance.
  • Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to improve marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, SEO algorithms, and social media best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in SEO and social media management, ideally in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Moz).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, social media platforms, and SEO best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to think analytically.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with a high degree of initiative.
