Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the conversion of our enterprise systems from PeopleSoft to Workday. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale ERP migrations, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to business processes. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and in-depth technical and functional knowledge of PeopleSoft and Workday.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end PeopleSoft to Workday migration project.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, finance, and external vendors, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Oversee data migration, system configuration, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership, on project progress and challenges.
- Ensure proper change management practices are in place, including training and documentation for end-users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the migration process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on ERP or HCM systems.
- Hands-on experience managing PeopleSoft to Workday conversions or similar ERP transitions.
- Strong understanding of Workday modules (HCM, Financials, Payroll, etc.) and PeopleSoft architecture.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with data migration tools and best practices is a plus.
