Job Description

CASEpeer is AffiniPay’s legal practice management solution purpose-built for Personal Injury Law. As an Associate Product Manager, CASEpeer, under a mentor’s guidance, you will lead a mission-driven product team in the definition, delivery, and measurement of product opportunities that create value for our customers and our business.

Our product teams discover and deliver features and products that customers love while driving business growth. We collaborate with UX and Engineering to develop a deep understanding of customer pain-points to build solutions that meet their needs. Product Managers are accountable for outcomes and are empowered to do the right thing for our customers and business in alignment with our overall vision and strategy.

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to learn how to develop and execute a vision and strategy that propels business growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Learn best practices on how to lead mission-driven teams in a product focused organization
  • Develop and execute, in partnership with UX, on research plans to define problems, test ideas and validate assumptions
  • Coordinate & lead prospect & customer interviews, both over the phone and in-person, to deepen personal and organizational understanding of our customers’ needs and desires,test your thinking and explore multiple solutions
  • Become proficient in product functionality and understand the product vision, strategy so that you can explain how your team’s work fits in
  • Prepare & deliver clear, compelling presentations to customers, colleagues, and superiors on the value, priority, and results of initiatives
  • Alongside a mentor, lead 1 mission-driven team and prioritize a problem-focused roadmap and backlog so your team can achieve goals as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Collaborate with customers, design, research, and engineering to craft elegant solutions to customer and business problems
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance in the agile delivery process, including owning the scoping and drafting of user stories for new features
  • Partner with sales, onboarding, marketing, and support teams to identify ways to make our products better and bring new features to market
  • Partner with Product Marketing on messaging, make recommendations on GTM strategies and execute GTM responsibilities when launching new features
  • Identify and build metrics to track the success and impact of features

About You:

  • You have 3+ years of experience working for a payments/SaaS company, or 1 year of experience as a product manager on an agile product team
  • A general understanding of the agile software development process with experience working in a highly collaborative environment 
  • Can articulate typical business and technical concepts 
  • You have a perspective on what makes sophisticated, easy-to-use software
  • You understand how to work with, encourage and inspire Engineers/Developers
  • Experience leading and influencing others

Nice to Haves:

  • Strong understanding of the intricacies of Personal Injury law and cases
  • Prior experience with Personal Injury software products for law firms
