About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager for Payments, you will lead product development for our fiat and crypto payment systems. You will lead the CCP Payments team in collaboration with a senior tech lead, working closely with the payments engineers to integrate multiple payment processors and services. You will optimize for security, speed, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. You will work with both Kickstarter and CCP product and tech teams to understand and refine Kickstarter’s payment systems. Additionally, as the Protocol serves platforms around the world, you will also master different payment stacks in various locales and regions. You will help navigate regulations and compliance and work directly with leadership on setting roadmap and establishing goals and priorities.

  • Drive product strategy, prioritization, and development through the full product life cycle.
  • Solve the toughest product problems of the crowdfunding industry.
  • Connect with our users and partners to understand their current needs, anticipate their future demands, and validate potential solutions that solve real problems.
  • Investigate complex challenges, analyze data, and develop creative solutions.
  • Lead engineering discussions and drive technology decisions related to product strategy and features.
  • Manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders, aligning their feedback with product and engineering teams. 
  • Explain value propositions to partners and convince them to commit and move forward.

Who you are / requirements:

We are looking for candidates who are looking to drive innovation in fiat-crypto payments and eager to build, experiment, and ship fast. You may also have:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a product manager in payments, fintech, digital wallets, crypto protocols, and/or smart contracts.
  • Built or integrated digital, embedded, custodial, or non-custodial wallets
  • Built or integrated on/off-ramps
  • Negotiated fees with payment processors and/or service providers
  • Switched your product’s payment providers, evaluating tradeoffs and creating timeline
  • Created a Stripe Connect solution
  • Worked with global / non-US payment systems
  • Worked with stablecoins in commercial transactions
  • Expertly convinced a disparate group of stakeholders to adopt your roadmap
  • Past experience at a payments, fintech, or crypto company
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
  • Strong business and product strategy; experience in crowdfunding, marketplaces, or creator services is a bonus

Salary Range

The salary range in the United States is $160,000 - $180,000. Please note that this salary range is only applicable to candidates based and residing in the United States.
