About the Role:
As a Construction Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from inception to completion. You'll lead a team of construction professionals, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specified quality standards. Your strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be essential for navigating project complexities and ensuring successful outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop and execute project plans.
- Secure necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate potential risks and delays.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks.
- Manage and motivate a team of construction professionals, delegating tasks and providing ongoing support.
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and addressing any concerns.
- Document project progress and maintain detailed records.
- Ensure project compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
- Manage and resolve project issues and conflicts effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Valid construction industry certifications (a plus).
