Job Title: Web Designer & Digital Marketing Associate
Working Schedule: Overlapping US hours
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor
About the Role:
In this unique combination role, you'll wear two hats – web designer and digital marketing associate. You'll be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our brand identity. Additionally, you'll leverage your marketing skills to develop and execute engaging digital campaigns to drive website traffic and brand awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Web Design:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand website goals and target audience.
- Design and develop user interfaces (UI) that are aesthetically pleasing, intuitive, and user-friendly.
- Ensure website responsiveness across various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
- Maintain brand consistency throughout the website design.
- Utilize design software like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator (or similar).
- Stay up-to-date on web design trends and best practices.
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., SEO, social media, email marketing).
- Create engaging content (e.g., blog posts, social media graphics, email newsletters) to promote the website and brand.
- Manage and optimize social media presence to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Analyze website traffic data and user behavior to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) efforts to improve website ranking.
- Stay current on digital marketing trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a web design or digital marketing role (or a combination of both).
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design capabilities and understanding of user interface (UI) principles.
- Experience with content creation and management for digital marketing purposes.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize deadlines.
