Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and technically proficient Graphic Designer with a sharp eye for detail to join our creative team. This is a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing visually compelling designs that align with our brand standards and support our marketing initiatives. Your role will encompass formatting packaging files, designing emails, ad graphics, website design, and creating illustrations and sock designs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong technical background in graphic design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Packaging Design: Format and prepare packaging files for production, ensuring all designs adhere to brand guidelines and technical specifications.
- Email Design: Design visually appealing and effective email templates that align with marketing campaigns, enhancing user engagement.
- Website Design: Develop and design website layouts that are visually appealing and user-friendly, ensuring consistency with brand aesthetics.
- Illustration: Create original illustrations to support various projects, including marketing materials, web content, and product designs.
- Ad Graphics: Create compelling ad graphics for various platforms, including social media, web, and print, to support marketing and promotional activities.
- Sock Design: Collaborate with the product design team to create unique and eye-catching sock designs that align with brand aesthetics.
- File Management: Organize and maintain design files, ensuring all assets are correctly labeled and stored for easy access by the team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director, Marketing Team, and other departments to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Quality Assurance: Review and proof designs for errors before printing or publishing, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
- Innovation: Stay updated with design trends and tools, bringing fresh ideas and approaches to projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a marketing or creative agency environment.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- Solid understanding of print production processes, packaging design, illustration, and website design.
- A meticulous approach to design, with a strong focus on precision and accuracy in all tasks.
- A creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative design concepts that align with brand identity and marketing goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design choices and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including packaging, email design, and ad graphics.
- Previous experience in fashion or product design, particularly in creating sock designs, is a plus.
