Our client is a rapidly growing market research and insights platform. Their goal is to simplify technology for researchers, enabling them to gather and utilize consumer data seamlessly.
The platform facilitates more than 115 million online interviews annually. Additionally, they developed the industry's first and only respondent-level scoring system. They are quickly becoming a leading solution for quality multi-sourcing and end-to-end automated research solutions.
The Opportunity:
As the Lead of Machine Learning, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced AI and machine learning solutions to enhance their market research platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy AI models that drive insights and improve data quality. Your expertise will be essential in advancing the technology and maintaining the company’s leadership in the industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning/AI, Data Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on generative AI and synthetic data.
- Proven experience leading AI/ML projects from concept to production in a business environment.
- Experience in market research, consumer insights, or related fields is a plus.
- Expertise in generative AI models (GANs, VAEs, transformers) and synthetic data generation techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and relevant machine learning libraries.
- Strong proficiency in NLP techniques, including but not limited to sentiment analysis, named entity recognition (NER), language modeling, and text generation.
- Strong understanding of global data privacy regulations and ethical considerations in AI.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a machine learning strategy, with a focus on generative AI and synthetic data, to improve market research and consumer insights.
- Assist in building the Innovation team, including machine learning engineers, data scientists, and researchers, in designing and implementing advanced AI models.
- Integrate NLP techniques with generative AI models to enhance the generation of synthetic data that accurately reflects consumer language and sentiment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product development, marketing, data science, and commercial leaders to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and synthetic data generation, incorporating these into the company's strategy.
- Work closely with data engineers to build and maintain data pipelines that support AI model training and deployment.
- Lead initiatives to develop synthetic data solutions that improve the quality and diversity of data used in market research.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor AI solutions to specific industry needs, providing actionable consumer insights.
- Communicate complex AI concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders, including executives and clients.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to demonstrate the value of AI-driven insights to clients and customers.
- Drive research initiatives to explore new applications of generative AI and synthetic data in market research and consumer behavior analysis.
