One of our companies is currently looking for an Account Executive in Colorado, Kansas, or Montana.
This is a remote-based inside sales role designed for someone with a strong background in agriculture and a passion for helping farmers thrive. You’ll work closely with growers to understand their crop input needs, guide them through seamless transactions, and ensure an exceptional customer experience from harvest through pre-season delivery. Your daily work will involve building strong relationships, forecasting sales, and educating farmers on innovative tools that optimize their operations. You’ll play a critical role in promoting a smarter, tech-forward approach to farming while helping to drive growth across your region.
Accountabilities:
- Achieve revenue and gross profit targets by selling crop protection products directly to farmers.
- Build a territory-specific business plan to grow market share and maintain strong grower satisfaction.
- Partner with farmers to collect data and tailor crop input recommendations to their specific needs.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage customer interactions, forecast sales, and track performance.
- Organize and attend local farm events and industry trade shows to promote products and services.
- Educate growers on how to use the online platform to streamline ordering and product management.
- Share insights from the field to improve internal processes and enhance customer support.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience selling products or services to farmers, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of agricultural inputs and agronomy practices.
- Comfortable working with technology and ideally experienced in precision ag systems.
- Demonstrated success in customer relationship management and sales growth.
- Must be located in Colorado, Kansas, or Montana and familiar with the local agricultural landscape.
- Background in farming or production agriculture strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus; experience with Salesforce is desirable but not required.
