One of our companies is currently looking for an Account Manager, SMB in United States.
As an Account Manager for SMB clients, you will be responsible for driving customer retention and expansion within your assigned portfolio of accounts. You will engage with clients to manage renewals, expand the use of solutions, and create long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Your role will involve collaborating closely with customer success and sales teams to ensure client satisfaction and maximize revenue growth. You will also manage the full sales cycle, from forecasting to contract negotiation, all while exceeding your sales goals.
Accountabilities:
- Manage and drive renewals for your assigned portfolio of SMB accounts
- Expand the use of solutions within client organizations, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure high customer satisfaction and referenceability
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to process renewals and manage contracts
- Maintain a pipeline and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly bookings
- Develop and present proposals, including business cases and ROI metrics
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales
- Contribute to the sales cadence meetings and ensure alignment with company goals
- Apply the sales playbook and defined processes to ensure consistency in approach
Requirements
- 2+ years of account management experience, preferably in the technology or software industry
- Proven track record of managing a large account base and successfully closing renewals
- Strong experience in SaaS renewals and expansion, with a demonstrated ability to exceed quotas
- Experience building relationships and selling to multiple stakeholders across organizations
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Salesforce, and SaaS platforms
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, highly organized, and team-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Experience in startup sales is a plus
