Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and driving revenue growth in Turkey. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the local market and have proven experience in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Market Expansion
Perform comprehensive research on Turkey’s B2B sector to uncover opportunities, trends, and high-potential clients.
Create and implement focused outreach strategies (including cold emails, LinkedIn engagement, and participation in industry events) to attract leads and arrange meetings with C-level executives.
Negotiate and finalize agreements with distributors, local agencies, and complementary service providers to enhance market presence.
Modify global pricing models to align with local competitive conditions, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
Government Relations (GR) & Compliance
Keep abreast of developments in labor laws, tax regulations, and industry-specific rules that impact the outstaffing and manufacturing sectors.
Establish and nurture connections with government ministries, trade associations and chambers of commerce to ensure efficient market operations.
Act on behalf of the company in policy engagements, advocating for advantageous conditions (such as work permits for foreign employees).
Collaboration Across Functions
Collaborate with R&D teams to customize solutions for clients in Turkey
Lead campaigns to emphasize adherence to Turkish regulations
Provide training for local teams on product unique selling points, addressing objections, and understanding contractual details (such as termination clauses in outstaffing).
Operational Execution
Set and monitor important performance metrics (such as new clients acquired monthly, revenue per lead, and growth targets) using tools like Notion.
Inform senior leadership about market penetration, potential risks (including currency fluctuations), and competitive activities.
Address client escalations (for instance, delivery delays) through coordination with legal, logistics, and public relations teams.
Public Representation
Represent the organization to the public by engaging with stakeholders, including community members and media. Building rapport in the community is crucial for enhancing visibility and support, effectively bridging the gap between our organization and the public.
