One of our companies is currently looking for a Security Engineer (DevSecOps) in the United States.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and enhance the security of cloud-native infrastructure in a high-performing, fast-paced environment. As a DevSecOps-focused Security Engineer, you'll work closely with engineering teams to embed security at every stage of development and deployment. You’ll focus on securing Kubernetes clusters and AWS environments, strengthening CI/CD pipelines, and automating compliance and governance processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and has a strong technical foundation in cloud security. Accountabilities:

  • Drive secure-by-design principles across engineering teams and champion best practices for DevSecOps.
  • Secure and monitor Kubernetes environments, including RBAC, secrets management, and runtime defense.
  • Architect and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure, focusing on IAM, VPCs, encryption, and logging.
  • Integrate application security tools like SAST, DAST, and SCA into CI/CD pipelines for automated vulnerability management.
  • Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and code reviews for new features and services.
  • Create and maintain internal tooling, dashboards, and guardrails that promote secure development.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats and incorporate innovative security solutions into the infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience deploying and managing security solutions in AWS and Kubernetes environments.
  • At least 2 years of experience working on or securing web applications.
  • Proficiency in integrating security tools into CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., Wiz, CrowdStrike, Orca).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10, cloud security benchmarks (e.g., CIS), and agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Bonus: Certifications such as AWS Security, CISSP, CKA/CKS, or experience with Google Cloud.
