One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer in India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud-based platforms to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring high-quality data solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in optimizing data systems and is passionate about leveraging data for impactful business outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-based data platforms, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security through robust monitoring and validation frameworks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to improve data engineering practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Expertise in relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
  • Proficiency with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, BigQuery, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages like Python, NodeJS, and SQL.
  • Advanced experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and associated data services.
  • Experience with data warehousing tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, LookerStudio) and version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis) and machine learning pipelines.
