The CFO’s mission is to maximize the company’s value through strategic financial leadership and efficient resource management.
Operating within a SaaS business group, the CFO is responsible for aligning financial strategy with the organization’s growth objectives. This includes ensuring healthy cash flow, financial stability, and enabling sustainable growth by leveraging key SaaS metrics to drive performance. The CFO oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and compliance across the group of companies.
Additionally, the CFO works closely with the board of directors and executive leadership to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
Drive strong and efficient cash flow management by forecasting recurring revenue, monitoring SaaS metrics, optimizing billing and collections, and aligning financial planning with growth and retention strategies to ensure liquidity and extend runway.
Design and implement financial strategies that ensure business sustainability and enable scalable growth across markets, countries, products, and business lines.
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and review of financial statements in full compliance with international accounting standards, local regulations, tax obligations, and board-level reporting requirements.
Lead investment strategy and capital structure management to drive value creation and long-term growth.
Leverage automation and AI to streamline financial processes, improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work, and support data-driven decision-making.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risk.
Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to a high-performing, cross-functional finance team across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with company goals while fostering professional development, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Promote and embody Alegra’s culture within the finance team.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields such as Economics or Accounting.
Specialization or master’s degree in Management or Finance, preferably with a focus on topics such as international financial management or investment strategies.
Extensive knowledge and experience in the financial management of companies with holding structures.
Proficiency in concepts and applications related to transfer pricing in international business environments.
Experience in implementing and managing financial hedging strategies to minimize currency and market risk.
C1-level certification in English (such as TOEFL, IELTS, or another internationally recognized certification) demonstrating advanced skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Experience in consolidated financial reporting, external and internal audits, budget control, and financial forecasting.
Solid understanding of capital structuring and equity planning, especially for startups or high-growth companies.
Preferably with experience in subscription structuring, revenue recognition, and cash flow management in recurring revenue models.
Proficient in ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP.
Familiarity with automation and data analytics tools, including the implementation of AI-based solutions to optimize financial processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders across regions.
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into financial plans and initiatives.
Solid analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify global financial issues, and propose effective solutions. Ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize resources for profitability and growth across multiple countries.
