Virtual Assistant (Digital Marketing in Health & Wellness)

Job Description

Our client is a rapidly growing Australian start-up specialising in health and wellness, with a mission to improve lives through better sleep and well-being. Their dynamic team collaborates on exciting projects ranging from brand partnerships and digital marketing to the development of masterclasses and membership programs and they offer a fast-paced, self-starter environment where team members are encouraged to take initiative, learn, and grow.

They are now looking to hire a Virtual Assistant to support key stakeholders in managing daily operations, customer interactions, and digital content.

Job Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Schedule meetings and Zoom calls and prepare agendas across various departments.
  • Follow up with clients/customers to send timely reminders and share relevant documents.
  • Organise and maintain the company’s Google Drive.
  • Prepare and send invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Plan and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging short-form content (reels, shorts, snippets) from long-form material such as interviews, media appearances (e.g. Ch9), and event footage.
  • Support social media reporting and performance tracking.
  • Assist with managing brand partnerships and collaboration deliverables.

Website & Digital Updates

  • Update website content using Go High Level (GHL), including homepage sections, banners, and masterclass/member areas.
  • Assist with the upcoming website overhaul, including layout updates, SEO optimisation, and content refinement.
  • Copywriting and design skills will be highly regarded.

Email Campaigns & Newsletters

  • Draft, schedule, and report on marketing emails and newsletters.

Reporting

  • Compile and deliver monthly reports and progress updates as required.

Future Projects

  • Support potential digital advertising campaigns and promotions as the business grows.

Requirements

MUST HAVE Experiences:

  • Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Experience using Go High Level is significant.
  • Experience with social media content creation, especially short-form video (e.g. reels, TikToks).
  • Prior experience in the health and wellness industry or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Australian or US-based companies and their working environments.

Others:

  • Strong organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools like Monday.com.
  • Passionate about health and wellness, particularly in sleep improvement.
  • Bonus: SEO, basic design (Canva or similar), and copywriting experience.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
