One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, Core Product in United States.

As a Senior Engineering Manager, Core Product, you will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives within the core product that impact millions of users daily. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap, ensure quality and performance, and drive product decisions that align with company goals. Your leadership will influence how users communicate on the platform, with a particular focus on the messaging feature. You will be responsible for building and managing high-performing teams, enabling them to iterate quickly and deliver products that provide exceptional user value.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead a cross-functional team (Product, Design, Data Science, UX Research, Marketing) to define and execute the product roadmap.
  • Make key decisions around team resourcing, aligning with company goals and ensuring clarity across teams.
  • Drive product development by maintaining high standards for quality, user experience, and speed of delivery.
  • Use technical expertise to guide your team in making trade-offs and ensuring high-quality and efficient product delivery.
  • Mentor and grow engineering talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to improve organizational effectiveness and align with strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering with expertise across the tech stack and knowledge of modern frontend patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, leading teams of 8 or more engineers.
  • Proven ability to lead a consumer product team, driving measurable impact through high-quality product experiences.
  • A strong growth mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Commitment to developing and mentoring engineering teams, helping team members grow their careers.
  • Willingness to get hands-on with code when needed, helping the team troubleshoot and understand the product at a deep level.
