One of our companies is currently looking for a Financial Analyst in India.

The Financial Analyst will join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, collaborating closely with the Product, Channel, and Revenue teams. This role will focus on providing critical insights into the Managed Services (MS) product line, driving operational efficiency, and enhancing financial decision-making. You will manage gross margin reporting, improve visibility of the MS business, and support data-driven strategies to maximize the value of key relationships with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, a deep understanding of GAAP principles, and experience in financial modeling and forecasting.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the financial aspects of the Managed Services (MS) product line, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting of gross margins for all customers.
  • Improve visibility into the MS business, developing key operational metrics to guide strategic and operational decisions.
  • Partner with the Channel team to support the data needs of Cloud Service Provider contracts, ensuring the maximization of value from these relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights from SFDC reports and Managed Services data.
  • Assist in building and maintaining financial models for forecasting and performance tracking within financial planning tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, or related roles, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of keyboard shortcuts for efficient data manipulation.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience with financial planning tools, including building and maintaining models.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A background in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science is preferred.
