Business Development Lead

Job Description

As our Business Development Lead, you'll be reporting directly to the Head of Revenue, conducting a high-performing team to deliver qualified leads to our Sales team. You'll be the architect of our lead generation engine, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently as we scale. You're not just a manager; you're a player-coach, a process guru, and a data wizard, all rolled into one.

Technical Skills:
  • Lead & Inspire: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to exceed their targets and reach their full potential. You'll be their champion, their coach, and their biggest cheerleader.
  • Player-Coach Excellence: Roll up your sleeves and demonstrate best practices for outbound lead generation, inbound lead management, and discovery call setup. You'll lead by example, showing your team how it's done.

  • Complexity and Impact of Work:
  • Process Architect: Design, implement, and optimize BDR processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. You'll codify repeatable tactics in a comprehensive BDR playbook, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Data Dynamo: Analyze BDR performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. You'll be the voice of the BDR team, translating data into strategic recommendations.
  • Campaign Commander: Manage and administer various outbound campaign tools, ensuring seamless execution and optimal performance. You'll be the master of our tech stack, leveraging it to its fullest potential.
  • Compensation Curator: Develop and manage incentive plans that drive performance and reward achievement. You'll ensure our team is motivated and aligned with our goals.

  • Organizational Knowledge:
  • Crypto Catalyst: Leverage your understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain space to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients. 

  • Communication and Influence:
  • Marketing Synergy: Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure a smooth top of funnel collaboration, and to maximize conversion rates. You'll be the bridge between lead generation and revenue generation.

  • You may be a fit for this role if you have:
  • Leadership Prowess: Proven experience managing and developing a high-performing BDR or sales development team.
  • Industry Acumen: Background in B2B SaaS, Fintech, or financial services. Crypto experience is a major plus!
  • Data Driven: Strong reporting acumen, with the ability to distill complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Process Perfectionist: Experience building and optimizing sales development processes to drive efficiency.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in managing and administering outbound campaign tools and CRM systems.
