Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Project Manager with a strong background in healthcare to oversee and coordinate projects, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of healthcare administration, workflows, and project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:
    • Lead and manage healthcare-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
    • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Administrative Oversight:
    • Streamline administrative processes to improve efficiency in healthcare operations.
    • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, accreditation standards).
    • Prepare and present reports on project status, KPIs, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, IT teams, vendors, and executives to align project goals.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    • Track project expenditures and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
    • Manage contracts, procurement, and vendor relationships as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for operational enhancements in healthcare administration.
    • Implement best practices in project management and healthcare workflows.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years in project management, preferably in a healthcare setting (hospitals, clinics, insurance, or public health).
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or healthcare-specific certifications (e.g., CPHIMS, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Trello), EHR/EMR systems, and data analysis.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
