The Role: Design Engineer

We're seeking a Design Engineer to create user-centered designs for our AI-driven tools, working closely with our product and engineering teams. You will develop intuitive, engaging user interfaces that enhance our clients' experiences and streamline their workflows.

Who You'll Work With

As the Design Engineer, you'll have access to cutting-edge tools and support. You'll collaborate with:

• Product Managers: To align designs with business goals and user needs.
• Engineers: To ensure seamless design implementation and functionality.
• UX Researchers: To gain insights into user behavior and preferences.

Day-to-Day expectations

Here's how you can expect to spend your time each week:

40% – Design Development: Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features.
30% – Collaboration: Working with product managers and engineers to align on project goals and timelines.
15% – Research & Testing: Conducting user tests and implementing feedback to refine designs.
10% – Design Reviews: Participating in team reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
5% – Continuous Improvement: Staying updated on design trends and best practices for ongoing professional growth.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Skills Needed

• Design Expertise: Proven experience in creating user-friendly interfaces with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design. Ability to adapt to different design styles as necessary.
• Collaboration Skills: Strong communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback.
• Research Proficiency: Skilled in conducting user research and analysis to inform design decisions.
• Time Management: Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with AI Tools: Familiarity with using AI in design processes for more efficient workflows.
• UI/UX Certifications: Formal certifications in UI/UX design.
• Prototyping Skills: Advanced proficiency in prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch.
