Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the development of scalable, orchestrated, and containerized infrastructure solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing robust cloud architectures and a solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration tools. Experience with penetration testing or security best practices is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Build containerized environments using tools such as Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes or ECS/EKS.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure system reliability.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to support development workflows.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure.
  • Support incident response, perform root cause analysis, and continuously improve infrastructure practices.
  • (Optional but valuable) Conduct penetration testing and apply security hardening best practices across the cloud environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure engineering.
  • Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
  • Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with security protocols, monitoring tools, and cloud best practices.
  • Understanding of networking, VPC configuration, IAM, and cloud governance.
  • (Optional) Experience with penetration testing or security auditing tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote environments.
