Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team on a part-time, project-based engagement (1–2 months, with the possibility of renewal). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration, and is particularly strong in optimizing build systems such as Webpack. You will play a key role in enhancing our CI/CD pipelines and overall development efficiency.
Project Details:
- Duration: 1–2 months (renewable)
- Schedule: Part-time
- Location: Fully remote
- Compensation: USD 25/h ~ 30/h
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, especially EKS and EC2.
- Optimize and maintain Kubernetes clusters for scalability and high availability.
- Improve and streamline Webpack build performance and bundling processes.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and testing workflows.
- Utilize Docker to containerize applications and ensure smooth integration within Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and environment stability.
Requirements
- Proven experience with AWS (especially EKS and EC2 services).
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes and containerization using Docker.
- Deep understanding of Webpack configuration and performance optimization (priority).
- Hands-on experience with building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
