The Project Manager at Payarc plays a critical role in driving strategic initiatives across departments. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects that include go-to-market strategies, partner onboarding/implementation, and internal business optimization. The Project Manager will act as a liaison across teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability for each project phase, supporting Payarc’s commitment to delivering results through effective collaboration and execution.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the end-to-end management of projects across go-to-market, partnerships, and internal cross-functional initiatives
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, workstreams, and documentation
- Organize and facilitate kickoffs, status meetings, retrospectives, and milestone reviews
- Track project progress, risks, and blockers; escalate issues when needed
- Align stakeholders across Product, Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and Customer Success
- Monitor project performance using tools and KPIs; ensure timely delivery and scope adherence
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain communication across all levels of the organization
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for project governance and operational processes
- Document and communicate lessons learned and best practices

- Skilled at managing stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding
- Ability to manage timelines, priorities, and resources across concurrent projects

- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira)
- Strong presentation and reporting skills
Qualifications / Experience Required
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a technology, SaaS, or fintech environment
- Demonstrated success in managing projects involving partner implementation or GTM execution
- Experience in coordinating across multiple departments with different priorities
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working with technical teams
- Strong documentation and project planning capabilities
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other PM certifications is a plus
- Continued coursework in Agile, change management, or stakeholder engagement is a plus
