We are seeking a seasoned and driven Senior Product Manager with a strong background in Data Engineering to lead the strategic development of our data platforms and pipelines. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, business, and design teams to shape and execute a compelling data strategy. You will own the product roadmap for key data engineering initiatives and ensure the delivery of scalable, high-performance data infrastructure that powers critical business functions.

This role requires a deep understanding of both product management principles and data engineering technologies. You should be as comfortable talking to stakeholders about business objectives as you are discussing architecture trade-offs with engineers. If you are passionate about building products that leverage data to drive innovation and decision-making, this is the role for you.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for data infrastructure, data pipelines, and internal data platforms.
• Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to understand technical constraints, capabilities, and requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements and technical specifications.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, data science, operations, etc.) to deliver high-impact, scalable data solutions.
• Prioritize features and initiatives using a balance of customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: from ideation and development to rollout and iteration.
• Evaluate performance metrics and use insights to improve product effectiveness and data platform capabilities.
• Ensure data quality, governance, privacy, and compliance requirements are addressed throughout the product lifecycle.
• Act as the internal advocate for best practices in data infrastructure and engineering within the product management team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong emphasis on data products or data platforms.
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT, data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data streaming.
• Strong grasp of modern data stack technologies such as Airflow, Kafka, Snowflake, BigQuery, DBT, Spark, etc.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams to ship impactful data products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in agile environments and managing cross-functional teams.
• Technical background (degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field) is a strong plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is highly desirable.
